when mobile isn't the best choice

I have a funny situation here. I have a PowerBook with Tinderbox on it and a room full of WIndooze PCs here at home. Imagine which I use?
Wrong. I actually sit down at the PC side of the world when I come home. And there's a simple reason for that: those PCs are already unpacked, running and net-connected. My PB sits in its bag in my backpack and awaits the tiime I get up to unpack it, set it up and start doing fun things with it. But unpacking can be a barrier of entry at times. Especially if the PC is already up and running...
Well, as I am writing this here, you can guess I found it in me to do the right thing eventually ;)
(Sorry for the weak post on that title)
