Polyphasic Sleep
2005-10-20
Another interesting post by Steve Pavlina, here he talks about "Polyphasic Sleep".
Polyphasic Sleep is a technique where you only sleep about 30 minutes at a time, but in intervalls of 4 hours. He's only just trying it out himself, but apparently there are some profound benefits additional to the gain in free time (you only sleep for about 2-3 hours in total per day). Vivid and very lucid dreams and a rise in generaly clearness and energy are claimed to be among the benefits.
This reminds me of another thing I had in my drafts folder for some time now: "dreaming while awake"
