collaborative utopia

Mark Bernstein has a post linking to my "Collaborative Plotting" post that had me confused at first.

He draws a connection between what I'd done and the political collaboration between H. G. Wells and George Bernard Shaw... I really didn't get the connection, especially as my process aims to eliminate the dreadful social aspects of collaboration: debate, politics and infighting.

In an IM that was quickly explained:

Mark Bernstein: "There's a collaborative utopianism which makes a lot of people want run and hide. I wanted to say your stuff is interesting even if one doesn't subscribe to the collaborative utopia"
