concerning the recent discussion about weblog.com updates being obsolete or not-so-very-usefull...
I thinking about a small experiment: what would happen if I simply stopped pinging weblogs.com... Would my regular readers even notice? Or care?
I know a majority of you don't come via weblogs.com or blo.gs, some even simply use the RSS feed. Others come via their favorites, so I might loose some of you...
Would it hurt much if I stopped advertising my every update (I still do that deliberatly by hand via bookmarklet), and simply made people check back regularly?
