Yes, I can 100% support this vision of a storytelling application. Not necessarily as a web-lication, but yes.

You write your story one memory at a time. The application takes care of inserting the memory on your 'memory map' based on the date it took place

Well, only one problem there... mostly I don't actually know when it was exactly. I can estimate. And I can put it in context. Like, it was before that, but after that...
