Now, we all think M$ could have brought prior art to bear
in the case, but I do have another theory... (call me a believer in conspiracies if you like)
What if, MS wanted to loose?
think about it for a while. M$ has the money to pay any kind of license/royalties Eolas could want. M$ could even outright
buy them. Now in what place would that put them? M$ would be the only one to use tech involving embedded objects, no? And maybe any other vendor who had the cash to pay up... But surely not any kind of OpenSource competition... no Mozilla, no GNOME, nada.
That'S what I fear is really going on.
