Traumwind - PhpDig : The smallest PHP search engine, Index

PhpDig is a http spider/search engine written in Php with a MySql database in backend.
Indexing after indexing, PhpDig builds a glossary with the key words found in indexed pages. On a search query, it displays a result page with documents which contains the search keys, ranked by occurence.

looks really good. GPL'ed if you like that. And relies on MySQL, which is a deal-stopper for me. (No, I can handle MySQL, and I have access to one on my own server, thanks. I just don't like the PHP/MySQL mantra, as I believe there are better options)
