Salon.com News | Chaos erupts"Still have not come to grips with this. I was about a mile away when the second building collapsed. I watched it but could not believe it." -- John Dunham To be honest I still can't really believe it. Or rather: I wish I couldn't. Shudder to Think - Astral55/Kelli Wednesday, September 12 02:53 A.M.
"I was stupid enough to think that something like this would not happen in my lifetime. I was naive enough to feel safe in my country. I was silly enough to feel protected. At this moment, I'm not sure I will ever feel safe again.
I want to play nintendo and read and watch cartoons and pretend nothing has happened. And I feel awful for wanting that.
Most of all I want this to never have happened, for time to reverse and stop, and to just.. feel.. safe, the way I did, yesterday, last night.
I want to know how I should handle this.. how I can handle this."Just a random pick from the 'changed icons'
