last night on my way home. Normally I religiously guard things I carry with me, but last night I actually put the book next to me and left the train without it. I was really upset with myself when I noticed three hours later, at home. What made it really frustrating is the fact that I almost noticed while leaving the train. My backpack was feeling too light, so I went back to check if I had left anything but didn't see it.
Thank whoever, but the book was actually deliverd to the 'Fundbüro' (Lost & Found), so I could collect it today. For some reason I was really, really upset about the loss yesterday. More than just the value of the book (a computer science book). Maybe because I guard my stuff so well normally. I just coudn't accept my concentration slipped long enough to leave it there...
