... well I spent my weekend hacking together a one-size-fits-all
Lua standalone Interpreter. Mainly collecting and putting together all the various
extra libs and modules I thought it could need, and then getting it all to compile...
So now I have a standalone script-interpreter with SQL Database, Sockets (HTTP, SMTP, FTP etc.), expat (XML, XML-RPC), all in one handy executeable (only the expat is currently compiled as dll) with a total size of around 450kb. Almost there ;)
Btw. just noticed: the
luagnome project has an
installer for Windows, which I tested on Win2k, it works. Funny I never saw anything about that anywhere...
